Quality Control Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Quality System Management: Develop, implement, and maintain quality control and assurance systems, procedures, and documentation.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure all products and processes comply with national and international food safety regulations (e.g., FSSAI, HACCP, GMP, ISO) and customer requirements.
• Audits and Inspections: Conduct regular internal audits of production facilities and processes, and manage external audits and certifications.
• Product and Process Monitoring: Monitor and document production processes, perform routine testing and sampling, and oversee equipment sanitation and maintenance.
• Data Analysis and Improvement: Analyze quality data, perform root cause analysis on deviations, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Staff Training and Leadership: Train and supervise quality and production staff, ensuring consistent application of quality standards and procedures.
• Supplier Collaboration: Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure the quality of incoming raw materials and packaging.
• Problem Resolution: Investigate customer complaints and quality issues, collaborating with other departments to resolve them promptly.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to quality, safety, and inspections.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in a relevant field like Food Science, Microbiology, or a related science or technology degree, along with a specific amount of experience, which can range from minimum 5 to 7 years depending on the specific role and company. A postgraduate degree can reduce the experience requirement.

• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, quality management systems (HACCP, GMP, ISO), and food science.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
