Quality Control Microbiologist

Job Role: Quality Control Microbiologist

• Conduct microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished products.
• Monitor hygiene, sanitation, and environmental conditions in the processing unit.
• Ensure compliance with FSSAI, ISO, HACCP, and food safety standards.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and test reports.
• Test water, air, equipment, and surfaces for microbial contamination.
• Investigate out-of-specification results and contamination sources.
• Support audit preparations and documentation requirements.
• Train plant staff on hygiene and microbiological safety.
• Perform routine swabbing and environmental monitoring.
• Suggest improvements in quality control procedures and preventive actions.ualifications:
• Education:

B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Microbiology, Food Technology, Biotechnology, or related discipline from a recognized university.

• Experience:

1–3 years of hands-on experience in microbiological testing, preferably in the food or agro-processing industry.
(Freshers with strong academic background may also be considered.)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
