Quality Control Microbiologist

Role Description

This full-time, on-site Quality Control Microbiologist role is based in Santej. The Quality Control Microbiologist will oversee routine microbiological testing, monitor production processes, maintain laboratory equipment, and ensure compliance with quality standards. Responsibilities include conducting microbial testing on raw materials, intermediate products, and finished goods, as well as ensuring that all testing adheres to regulatory guidelines and company SOPs.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Quality Control processes and procedures, with an ability to ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
• Strong Laboratory Skills and experience handling Laboratory Equipment for microbiological testing in a sterile environment.
• Analytical Skills, including the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve quality or process-related issues.
• Background in Microbiology, with knowledge of microbiological testing methods, data interpretation, and documentation.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and ability to work in a highly regulated environment.
• Educational qualifications in Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related field (Bachelor's or higher).
• Experience working in a GMP-compliant or certified facility is a plus.
