Quality Inspector – Manufacturing Company: Raghmohan Industries About the Company: Raghmohan Industries is a manufacturing company producing precision metal components for industrial customers. We focus on quality, process control, and continuous improvement across our factory operations. Job Responsibilities Quality Inspection & MeasurementUse inspection instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Plug Gauges, Thread Gauges, Snap Gauges, Dial Indicator, Profile Projector, Hardness Tester, and Surface Tester Inspect setup approval parts and give clearance for production Handle incoming inspection of raw material and parts from sub-suppliers Handle final inspection and dispatch inspection records Process Control & AnalysisCarry out Process Capability and SPC activities Perform daily rejection analysis using PPM Collect and analyze scrap and rejection data Do ABC analysis of quality data Identify short-term correction areas and document actions Discuss long-term corrections, prepare MOM, and implement actions Documentation & ReportingPrepare and maintain inspection records, measurement sheets, quality plans, and work instructions Maintain and update calibration records for gauges and instruments Prepare monthly MRM data Calculate and track OEE Document production and quality issues lot-wise Prepare documents for ISO 9001 QMS audits Conduct internal audits and supplier audits Production & Planning SupportSupport production planning, scheduling, and control Track parts from sub-suppliers Monitor daily stock details Dispatch parts as per customer requirements Plan and order raw materials Improvement & Lean Activities Participate in NPD activities Handle Gauge R&R studies Attend customer complaints and work on CAPA Participate in Lean activities such as SFMC, TPM, VSM, PDCA, Kanban, Supermarket, Lead Time Tracking, etc. Work with operators, inspectors, and setters to assign responsibilities and targets Prepare and execute plans for scrap control, checking, sorting, and zero rework Review progress weekly with Managing Director and Production team Job RequirementsDiploma / ITI / relevant experience in Quality Inspection Hands-on experience with measuring instruments Basic computer knowledge for data entry and reporting Ability to prepare and maintain quality documents Willing to work closely with production and management Disciplined, responsible, and detail-oriented Work Environment Manufacturing factory floor Cross-functional work with production, quality, and management teams Continuous improvement–focused environment
