Multi-Spindle Automatic Lathe Machine Operator

Company Overview: We are a precision manufacturing facility specializing in producing high-quality turned components using multi-spindle lathe automats. We seek a dedicated operator to run and monitor these machines, ensuring production meets strict quality standards. Job Summary: The Multi-Spindle Lathe Operator will be responsible for operating and monitoring multi-spindle lathe machines to produce parts according to engineering drawings and specifications. The operator will adjust tooling settings as needed, load raw materials, and collaborate with quality and setup teams to resolve production issues. Key Responsibilities: Operate and monitor multi-spindle lathe automats during 10-hour shifts, Monday to Saturday. Ensure production of parts meets drawing and quality specifications by monitoring output. Use precision measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, dial gauges, and micrometers to inspect parts. Adjust tooling settings to correct deviations in product quality as necessary. Load new raw materials into machines to ensure continuous operation. Work closely with machine setters and quality inspectors to troubleshoot and resolve production issues. Maintain a clean and safe working environment adhering to safety norms and company policies. Qualifications & Skills: Diploma in Engineering or 10th standard pass. Basic mechanical aptitude with an interest in engineering principles. Prior experience operating multi-spindle machines or Traub lathes is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and use measuring instruments. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and within a team. Work Conditions & Compensation: 10-hour shifts from Monday to Saturday. Holidays on State and National Holidays Monthly salary between INR 13,000 to 16,000. Benefits include annual Dussehra bonus, Provident Fund (PF), and Employee State Insurance (ESI).
