Accountable and Responsible for :

• To carry out Stage wise inspection (Welding, fit up, Dish end Inspection, Nozzle, PT Examination, final visual & dimensional inspection, Pressure testing, EP, Drainability etc.) as per approved drawing & QCP.
• Prepare Inspection report and keep report (Hard & Soft) in respective folder / file.
• Prepare MIS (Management Information System) reports and submit them to the reporting manager

• Monthly Rework / Rejection data, Monthly Deviation report, RT summery sheet, External Customer complaints, Continual improvement.
• Review and approve stamp transfer for Welder no. & Joint no. near welding for all equipments (Pressure parts only).
• Prepare RT Request sheet & Coordination with NDE Vendor.
• Review RT Examination Film & Report.
• To prepare equipment wise RT Examination summery sheet.
• Prepare Material History chart and arrange Test certificate.
• To arrange Quality dossier as per Index and submit to reporting manager for review & approval.
• To Perform PT examination & prepare report.
• Provide as built dimension to design team for as built drawing preparation.
• Arrange Stage wise Photographs for Equipment – PT Examination, Pressure testing, Pre-dispatch, RA (surface finish) and keep at Respective Project folder.
• Review the WPS / PQR / WPQ monthly & update if any additional requirement.
• Prepare welder Continuity record & update in file.
• Prepare & display qualified welder list for every 3 month and distribute it to Production.
• Assign welder no. & entry in welder list.
• Arrange test coupon for new welder & qualification done as per procedure.
• Involve in safety activities and update unsafe condition & activities to respective team.
• Do root cause analysis along with corrective action with Production team on Rework / Rejection and Deviation.
• Conduct meeting with Welder, Fitter & shop supervisor and discuss Deviation / QC observation.
• Provide Technical support to QA & projects.
• Implement continual improvement tools.
• Support to other unit’s engineers for Quality related activities.
• Prepare daily & weekly planning of pending works and discuss with reporting manager for priority allocation.
• Involve in ASME U & R stamp equipment.
• Involve in ASME U & R stamp audit and face External audit.
• Involve in ISO 9001 2015 activities and face External & internal audit.
• To maintain the 5S at Shop & Office.
• KRA / KPI monitoring & achieving as per given targets.
