About the Role: As a Quality Assurance Specialist at Growhut, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality, functionality, and reliability. You will work closely with development teams to design and execute comprehensive testing strategies, identify and resolve defects, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our products. Key Responsibilities: - Test Planning & Development: Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans and test cases based on product specifications and user requirements.- Comprehensive Testing: Conduct thorough testing of software applications, systems, and embedded devices to identify defects, performance issues, and areas for improvement.- Collaboration & Feedback: Collaborate with software developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and provide feedback on design and functionality.- Automated Testing: Implement and manage automated testing frameworks and scripts to streamline testing processes, improve efficiency, and ensure consistent results.- Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to verify bug fixes and ensure that new features do not adversely impact existing functionality.- Issue Resolution: Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and work with teams to resolve defects promptly, ensuring high-quality product releases.- Documentation: Document test procedures, results, and defects using established tracking systems, maintaining clear and accurate records.- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and advancements in quality assurance to enhance testing processes and outcomes. Qualifications: - Bachelorās degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.- Proven experience as a QA Specialist or in a similar quality assurance role, with a solid understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.- Strong proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.- Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar frameworks.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with performance testing, load testing, or security testing.- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.- Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.- Certifications related to quality assurance and testing (e.g., ISTQB certification) are a plus.
