Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct and oversee quality checks at project sites to ensure adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Plan and participate in FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests) and SAT (Site Acceptance Tests) in coordination with vendors and clients.
• Review, verify, and approve QAPs, FAT and SAT procedures, inspection plans, and test reports.
• Visit vendor works for inspections and witness manufacturing/testing activities to ensure compliance with technical and quality requirements.
• Identify and report non-conformities; follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain all QA/QC documentation including inspection reports, calibration records, and test certificates.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and internal teams on all QA/QC matters.
• Ensure proper implementation of ASNT Level II NDT techniques (UT, RT, PT, MT, etc.) where applicable.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 quality management systems and relevant industry standards.
• Support internal and external audits and assist in documentation and closure of audit findings.
  

Required Skills And Competencies

• Strong understanding of QA/QC practices in Civil and/or Mechanical engineering fields.
• Hands-on experience with FAT, SAT, and QAP review/approval.
• Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings, technical specifications, and quality plans.
• Knowledge of applicable standards (e.g., ASME, ASTM, IS codes, ISO, etc.).
• Effective communication and reporting skills.
• Familiar with inspection tools, testing equipment, and NDT procedures.
• Willingness to travel to project sites and vendor locations as required.
  

Preferred (but Not Mandatory)

• Exposure to EPC or infrastructure projects.
• Experience working with third-party inspection agencies or consultants.
• Familiarity with construction management systems or ERP tools.
