Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) Engineer

As a Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and ensuring quality compliance throughout all stages of project execution. Your responsibilities will include conducting quality checks at project sites and vendor locations, coordinating Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), as well as reviewing and approving Quality Assurance Plans (QAPs). You will also be involved in inspection and verification tasks in alignment with project specifications, industry codes, and client standards. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct and oversee quality checks at project sites to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and standards. - Plan and participate in FAT and SAT in collaboration with vendors and clients. - Review, verify, and approve QAPs, FAT and SAT procedures, inspection plans, and test reports. - Visit vendor works for inspections and witness manufacturing/testing activities to ensure adherence to technical and quality requirements. - Identify and report non-conformities, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions. - Maintain all QA/QC documentation, including inspection reports, calibration records, and test certificates. - Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and internal teams on QA/QC matters. - Ensure proper implementation of ASNT Level II NDT techniques (UT, RT, PT, MT, etc.) where applicable. - Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 quality management systems and relevant industry standards. - Support internal and external audits, and assist in documentation and closure of audit findings. Qualifications Required: - B.E. in Civil or Mechanical Engineering. - 5 to 7 years of relevant experience. - Certification in ASNT Level II (for Mechanical NDT techniques). Additional Details: You will need to demonstrate a strong understanding of QA/QC practices in Civil and/or Mechanical engineering fields, hands-on experience with FAT, SAT, and QAP review/approval, proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, technical specifications, and quality plans, knowledge of applicable standards (e.g., ASME, ASTM, IS codes, ISO, etc.), effective communication and reporting skills, familiarity with inspection tools, testing equipment, and NDT procedures, and willingness to travel to project sites and vendor locations as required. Preferred (but Not Mandatory): - Exposure to EPC or infrastructure projects. - Experience working with third-party inspection agencies or consultants. - Familiarity with construction management systems or ERP tools.,
