We innovate and design our services and tools with a focus on customer and seller experience, followed by our focus on technology and worldwide scaling.We are seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to work with us to build a second Quality Assurance team in our Hyderabad location. This org brings interesting challenges, a positive team atmosphere, and a commitment to growth. You will have the opportunity to grow a team as an extension of the existing QA team, working both with new hires and established team members while also partnering with North America QA counterparts. The problem space we work in is technically challenging, and you will manage a team that delivers both automated and manual QA value.The successful Quality Assurance Manager will be obsessed with quality improvement, experienced and highly committed to creating world class automation for regression and feature testing, able to develop and drive a high-level test strategy, as well as take a hands-on approach to implementing that strategy. You will lead a team that will develop test strategies, automation, and execute on testing. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to improve quality processes already in place and drive change with the larger Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will have experience with management and be excited about contributing to the success of the team and products.

A day in the lifeAs a Quality Assurance Manager, your could range from having 1:1s with team members, meeting with stakeholders, mentoring and growing your team, or reviewing test plans. Our internal stakeholders operate across North America and China primarily, and are collaborative partners that will look forward to meeting with you and your team. You'll participate in our retrospective process, identifying key challenges. Our customers are both 3rd party sellers that use Amazon to build their business, as well as end customers that buy on Amazon.
About The Team
The Seller Fulfillment Services QA team's goal is to deliver quality products. The organization we support partners closely with QA. This team will span managing employees located in Hyderabad and Chennai, and will report to the senior QAM in North America. This team values growth, delivering results, and has a collaborative atmosphere where each team member has opportunities to grow and learn.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
- 1+ years of quality assurance teams management experience
- Experience managing manual testers
- Experience identifying and reviewing test plans, test cases and testing results with a strong QA background
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience preparing quality metrics and effectively engaging with stakeholders to set and drive quality goals
- Experience managing automation testers
- Experience transforming QA programs from manual to automation
- Experience testing front and back end systems
