Quality Assurance Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION Excellent knowledge about AMI architecture & IS 16444 standard for Smart meters. Good knowledge of ISO 9000, ISO 14000, ISO 27000, OHSAS 18000 & 45000. Develop and Implement QA Policies and Procedures: Establish and implement quality management systems that align with industry standards and organizational objectives. Conducting Audits and Inspections: Regularly evaluating processes, products, and services to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to established standards. Analysing Data and Identifying Trends: Using data analysis to pinpoint areas where quality might be compromised and to track the effectiveness of implemented QA measures. Training and Mentoring: Providing training to staff on quality assurance standards and best practices, ensuring they are knowledgeable and capable of performing their duties effectively. Collaborating with Stakeholders: Working with other departments and teams to ensure quality is integrated into all stages of the process, from design to production to delivery. Ensuring Compliance: Staying informed about and ensuring adherence to relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards. Resolving Quality Issues: Investigating and addressing any identified quality problems, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Continuous Improvement: Constantly seeking ways to improve quality processes and procedures, staying abreast of industry trends and best practices. Reporting and Documentation: Preparing and presenting reports on quality performance, ensuring clear communication and accountability. Responsibilities Develop standardized production, quality, and customer-service standards Identify potential risks before they become a problem, focusing on root cause analysis and preventive action Perform internal and external quality audits and compile detailed reports of findings Build a strong team through coaching, mentoring, specific training, and performance evaluations Qualifications Bachelor's in Electronics and Electrical Engineering. 10+ years of relevant experience with an energy meter manufacturing unit is desirable.
