Description
As a Quality Assurance Manager in the EV / 2-Wheeler Industry, you will be responsible for leading quality systems, supplier audits, and product validation for the electric vehicle lineup. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing and implementing a complete quality assurance framework across the product lifecycle. - Defining and enforcing quality standards with design, engineering, and manufacturing teams. - Conducting frequent supplier audits and ensuring robust QA processes. - Analyzing quality data (testing, field failures, performance metrics) to identify trends and improvements. - Supporting supplier assessment, evaluation reports, ratings & improvement plans. - Working with suppliers to ensure incoming components and assemblies meet standards. - Leading the resolution of quality issues and driving CAPA (Corrective & Preventive Actions). - Maintaining QA documentation, test results & compliance reports. - Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory vehicle quality norms. Qualifications required for this role include: - 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance within the Automotive / EV / 2-Wheeler industry. - Strong command of QA methodologies, root cause analysis, FMEA, and Six Sigma. - Hands-on experience in vehicle-level testing, validation, and inspections. - Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and supplier collaboration. - Proficiency in data analysis & reporting tools. - Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination skills. - A proactive, detail-oriented, quality-driven mindset. It would be great to have: - Experience working with electric 2-wheelers or motorcycles. - Awareness of regulatory standards for vehicle safety & quality. - Experience dealing with quality challenges in emerging markets. - Prior experience in an EV startup (preferred but not mandatory).
