Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and development of ductile iron valves in accordance with international standards and customer specifications. Create detailed 2D/3D models, engineering drawings, and specifications using CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.). Work closely with cross-functional teams (Production, Quality, Purchase, and Marketing) during NPD and product improvement projects. Manage product validation, testing, prototyping, and documentation. Ensure product designs meet required pressure ratings, flow characteristics, and compliance (e.g., IS/ISO/API/AWWA standards). Collaborate with external vendors, customers, and certification bodies when required. Participate in setting up the design and development processes, systems, and team for the new plant. Key Requirements: Minimum 16 years of total experience , with at least 8 years in the design and development of ductile iron valves . Proficiency in design software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, ANSYS or equivalent FEA tools). Hands-on experience in handling NPD projects from concept to launch.
