About The Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the QA function across multiple product teams, defining the quality roadmap and execution plans.
• Design and implement test automation frameworks and tools for web, mobile, and backend systems.
• Drive quality best practices across SDLC including test planning, risk assessment, and automation coverage.
• Build and mentor a team of QAs and SDETs; foster a culture of learning, ownership, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, design, engineering, support) to ensure product quality at every stage.
• Identify, prioritize, and resolve quality issues efficiently; oversee support-related escalations and RCA workflows.
• Promote adoption of CI/CD pipelines and shift-left testing strategies.
  

What Makes You a Strong Fit

• 3+ years of experience in a QA leadership role (QA Lead, QA Manager, SDET Lead/Manager), ideally within the e-commerce or consumer tech space.
• Demonstrated experience in managing and scaling quality teams and driving a quality roadmap from scratch.
• Hands-on expertise in designing and implementing automation tools for both business platforms and consumer-facing products.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to align stakeholders across technical and non-technical functions.
  

Bonus Points For

• Prior experience working with ERP platforms such as Odoo, ERPNext, or similar.
• Proficiency in Python, Flutter, PostgreSQL, and working knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
• Deep understanding of modern test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, or similar.
• Background from Tier 1 technology companies or high-growth startups.
