Job Summary

QA / Test Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain

  automated test scripts

  for web, mobile, and API applications
• Perform

  functional, regression, integration, smoke, and sanity testing

• Analyze requirements and create

  test plans, test cases, and test scenarios

• Identify, log, track, and verify defects using defect tracking tools
• Execute tests across multiple environments and platforms
• Collaborate closely with

  developers, product managers, and DevOps teams

• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and release validations
• Ensure adherence to

  QA standards, processes, and best practices

• Perform

  API testing

  using tools like Postman / RestAssured
• Support

  CI/CD pipelines

  by integrating automated tests

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
• Strong understanding of

  software testing life cycle (STLC)

• Experience with automation tools such as:
• Selenium / Cypress / Playwright
• Appium (for mobile automation)
• Proficiency in at least one programming language:
• Java / Python / JavaScript
• Experience with

  manual testing techniques

• Hands-on experience with

  test management tools

  (JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, etc.)
• Knowledge of

  SQL

  for database validation
• Familiarity with

  Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins

• Understanding of

  Agile / Scrum methodologies

Good to Have

• Experience with

  performance testing tools

  (JMeter, LoadRunner)
• Exposure to

  BDD frameworks

  (Cucumber)
• Experience testing

  cloud-based applications

  (AWS / Azure / GCP)
• Knowledge of

  security testing basics

• ISTQB certification
