Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Job Title: SDET1/SDET2 Location: WFO Gurugram Experience Level: 2–5 years Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automation QA Engineer to drive the quality of our product through efficient and scalable test automation. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, hands-on experience with automation tools, API testing, and a proactive mindset towards reducing manual efforts. Key Responsibilities: 1. Design, develop, and maintain API automation frameworks using Python and Pytest. 2. Automate frontend test cases using tools like Cypress or Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript. 3. Write MongoDB queries for data validation and test automation. 4. Work closely with the QA and development teams to understand manual tasks and convert them into automated solutions. 5. Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for automated test execution. 6. Perform and support performance testing (experience with tools like JMeter is a plus). 7. Collaborate in agile teams and actively participate in requirement analysis, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Show more Show less
