Role Overview

Data Validation Quality Analyst

Key Responsibilities

Develop, execute, and maintain
data validation and reconciliation plans
for large-scale migration projects.
Analyze
source (SQL Server)
and
target (Snowflake)
data to identify discrepancies and integrity issues.
Create and run
validation scripts, test cases, and data comparison queries
to verify accurate data migration.
Utilize
advanced SQL (T-SQL, Snowflake SQL)
for large dataset analysis and validation.
Collaborate with
DBAs, developers, and data engineers
to resolve data quality issues.
Document all
test results, discrepancies, resolutions, and process improvements
.
Conduct
post-migration validation and monitoring
to ensure long-term data reliability.
Contribute to
automation and framework development
for scalable data validation processes.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in
Computer Science, Information Technology
, or a related field.
4+ years
of experience in
data quality, validation, or testing
, preferably in
data migration or ETL
environments.
Proficiency in
SQL (T-SQL and Snowflake SQL)
for validating large datasets.
Hands-on experience with
ETL processes, data migration, or data warehousing
.
Familiarity with tools such as
Informatica, Talend
, or similar ETL frameworks.
Strong
analytical, problem-solving
, and
attention-to-detail
skills.
Excellent
documentation and communication
abilities.

Preferred Skills

Experience with
data validation automation frameworks

Knowledge of
Python or Shell scripting
for automated data validation.
Understanding of
data governance
and
quality management principles
.
