QS Engineer

We are seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join our esteemed construction team. As a vital part of our operations, the QS will be responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects. The role entails preparing cost estimates, conducting feasibility studies, and evaluating tenders to assure project viability and adherence to budget constraints. Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
• Conduct feasibility studies to determine project viability and financial implications.
• Evaluate and analyze tenders, ensuring competitive pricing and quality.
• Monitor project budgets, making adjustments as necessary to maintain financial control.
• Review contracts and agreements with clients and suppliers to ensure compliance and alignment with project goals.

• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure accurate cost and resource allocation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
• Proven experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficient in using QS software and tools for estimation and project management.
• Ability to analyze complex financial data and produce detailed reports.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
