  • Data Analysis & Reporting:

Ø Analyse test results to ensure that products meet required specifications.

Ø Prepare detailed quality reports and communicate findings to production and management teams.

Ø Maintain accurate records of QC results, non-conformance reports, and corrective actions.

  • Continuous Improvement:

Ø Work with production teams to identify areas for improvement in processes and product quality.

Ø Lead quality improvement initiatives and root cause analysis to address quality issues.

Ø Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to reduce defects and non-conformances.

  • Team Leadership:

Ø Lead and mentor a team of lab technicians, ensuring proper training and development.

Ø Ensure adherence to safety standards in the lab and production areas.

Ø Manage staffing schedules and ensure proper coverage during all production shifts.

  • Collaboration:

Ø Collaborate with rolling mill production teams to ensure that quality standards are integrated into the production process.

Ø Interface with suppliers, customers, and external auditors on quality-related matters.

Basic Knowledge Requirements:
