Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation related to pipeline fabrication, erection, and testing.
  • Develop Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), Quality Assurance Plans (QAP), Method Statements, and other project-specific QC documents.
  • Carry out inspection of materials, welding, NDT reports, hydro-testing, and other quality-related activities as per project specifications.
  • Coordinate with third-party inspection agencies and client representatives for inspections and approvals.
  • Monitor welding and fabrication processes, verify WPS/PQR, and ensure compliance with project standards.
  • Ensure testing and commissioning activities are documented and approved by the client.
  • Track and facilitate clearance of all snag/punch points during execution and before project handover.
  • Maintain quality records including material traceability, calibration records, and inspection reports.
  • Provide quality inputs during project execution to ensure compliance with ASME/IS/API or client-specific standards.
  • Support internal and external audits related to QA/QC.
  • Work closely with project, safety, and site teams to ensure alignment with quality and HSE standards.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Educational Qualification:
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 2–3 years of QA/QC experience, OR
  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 4–5 years of QA/QC experience.
  • Preferred Certification:
  • NDT Level II certification (RT, UT, MT, PT).
  • Other Requirements:
  • Knowledge of Tank Fabrication will be preferred
  • Knowledge of welding processes, materials, and pipeline fabrication standards.
  • Familiarity with codes and standards (ASME, IS, API, OISD, etc.).
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools and basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
  • Good communication and report-writing skills.
  • Experience in EPC projects involving pipelines, tanks, and mechanical systems is desirable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
