Job Title: QA Engineer – ERP Software
Location: Shyamal, Satellite
Department: Quality Assurance / Product Development
Reports To: QA Manager / Product Manager
Experience Level: 2 year-4 year

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer to join our team, focusing on ensuring the quality and reliability of our ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual and/or automated testing, excellent problem-solving skills, and a solid understanding of ERP systems and business workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product managers to understand ERP software requirements and user stories.
• Develop, document, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
• Participate in Agile/Scrum processes including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Ensure that software releases meet high-quality standards before deployment.
• Contribute to test automation frameworks and write reusable automated test scripts where applicable.
• Validate ERP modules such as Finance, HR, Inventory, Procurement, and Manufacturing.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve product quality.

Requirements: Must-Have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in software quality assurance, preferably with ERP systems.
• Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Hands-on experience with manual testing and test case creation.
• Familiarity with ERP platforms.
• Understanding of business processes related to ERP modules.
• Experience with SQL for data validation and backend testing.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with test automation tools.
• Knowledge of API testing tools..
• Experience with performance testing tools.
