QA Manual Engineer

Responsibilities:

We are looking for a meticulous and proactive QA Manual Engineer with 4–7 years of experience to ensure the quality and reliability of our platform. You will play a key role in manually testing our web and mobile applications, identifying bugs, and ensuring a seamless user experience for our clients. You will be responsible for testing the frontend, backend, regression, integration, and system components of Vaave’s applications.

• Play a key role in manually testing web and mobile applications, identifying bugs, and ensuring a seamless user experience for clients.
• Test the frontend, backend, regression, integration, and system components of Vaave’s applications.
• Review and analyze system specifications and requirements.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Execute manual test cases and identify bugs in web and mobile applications.
• Perform functional testing, regression testing, UI/UX testing, cross-browser testing, integration testing, system testing, and security testing.
• Document and report bugs clearly, and track them through to resolution.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and support teams to understand features and improve overall quality.
• Participate in product design and requirement reviews to provide feedback from a QA perspective.
• Contribute to improving QA processes, standards, and tools at Vaave.

Expectations:

• 4–7 years of experience in manual testing of web and mobile applications.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or similar platforms.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Excellent attention to detail, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
