Job Description

QA Manual Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze requirements, design, and execute detailed
manual test cases
.
Perform
functional, regression, and integration testing
for web and API applications.
Conduct
API testing
using tools like
Postman
or
Swagger
.
Collaborate with development teams to identify, document, and track defects.
Implement
BDD (Behavior-Driven Development)
practices using tools such as
Cucumber
or
JBehave
.
Participate in test planning, review sessions, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
Work closely with automation teams for test coverage alignment.

Required Skills:

Strong experience in
manual testing
of web and API-based applications.
Good understanding of
BDD frameworks
(Cucumber / JBehave).
Hands-on experience with
REST API testing
tools (Postman, Swagger).
Knowledge of
SDLC
,
STLC
, and
Agile methodologies
.
Excellent analytical, debugging, and communication skills.

Good to Have:

Basic understanding of
test automation
and
SQL queries
.
Exposure to
JIRA
,
Confluence
, or similar tools for defect tracking and documentation.
Familiarity with
CI/CD
environments.

Education:

Bachelors or Masters degree in
Computer Science
,
Information Technology
, or a related field.
