This role offers the opportunity to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products by designing and executing robust QA strategies across the full development lifecycle. Working closely with development, marketing, and product teams, you will be responsible for verifying compliance, identifying defects, and ensuring successful deployments. You will be involved in both manual and automated testing, from test case creation to defect resolution, across front-end, back-end, and integrated systems. The position requires a proactive approach to improving processes, strong collaboration skills, and a commitment to delivering defect-free features. This is a remote-friendly role with the chance to contribute to impactful projects in a dynamic environment.
Accountabilities
- Design, execute, and maintain manual end-to-end tests (front-end, back-end, and integrated systems) to detect defects and provide actionable product feedback
- Develop detailed test plans and test cases in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Operate within an agile development environment, testing new features within iterations and delivering rapid feedback through manual and automated methods
- Write clear, comprehensive bug reports and test documentation while collaborating closely with development and product teams to resolve issues
- Contribute to integration, system, performance, and user-acceptance testing across multiple projects and releases
- Ensure accurate metadata input and tracking in tools such as Ziflow, Jira, and Asana
- Troubleshoot testing issues, ensure compliance with relevant standards, and support campaign deployment processes
- Act as a key liaison between QA and marketing teams to flag and resolve site bugs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in the software development lifecycle and software testing
- Proficiency in QA methodologies, processes, and requirements analysis
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, Java, XML, HTTP protocol, and browser debugging tools
- Experience with tools such as JIRA, Git, Jenkins, and project management platforms like Asana
- Ability to communicate issues and deadlines effectively to various stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving mindset with eagerness to leverage automation and AI tools for efficiency
- Proven ability to manage concurrent projects under tight deadlines while maintaining high attention to detail
