QA Engineer

Headstart is a CRM for educational institutions. A CRM streamlines processes and improves communication, making interactions with prospective students more personal and efficient. With all data in one place, administrators can make better decisions about enrolling students and marketing strategies. Automation takes care of repetitive tasks, freeing up staff to focus on building real connections with students. Using CRM, educational institutions create smoother enrollment experiences, leading to happier students and stronger relationships. 

Python, FastAPI, and MongoDB

The budget for the position is between 2-5 LPA.

• Design, develop, and execute test cases for APIs, databases, and UI workflows.
• Build and maintain automated test suites for Python/FastAPI services.
• Validate data integrity and query performance in

  MongoDB

  .
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Develop test scripts in

  Python

  for automation and API validation.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure proper test coverage during the SDLC.
• Use defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira) to document, track, and manage issues.
• Participate in code reviews and provide input on testability and quality improvements.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab CI/GitHub Actions) to integrate automated testing.
• Ensure QA best practices are followed in an

  Agile/Scrum environment

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 months of experience as a Python Developer or QA Tester.
• Strong hands-on experience with

  Python

  for writing test scripts and automation.
• Experience testing

  REST APIs

  built with

  FastAPI (or similar Python frameworks)

  .
• Knowledge of

  MongoDB

  queries, schema validation, and performance testing.
• Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured, Pytest-HTTPX).
• Experience working with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills.
