About the Role

QA Automation Engineer

• Design, develop, and maintain

  automation frameworks

  (Data Driven, Keyword, Hybrid).
• Build and enhance

  Web and API automation

  using

  Selenium (Java/JavaScript)

  and

  Playwright

  .
• Implement

  backend testing

  using SQL, CSS, and XPath queries.
• Define automation strategy and ensure alignment with project requirements.
• Integrate automation frameworks with

  CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins)

  .
• Perform

  parallel execution & cross-browser testing

  with BrowserStack / Selenoid.
• Create

  test strategies, test plans, reports, and client-facing presentations

  .
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery.
• Stay updated with emerging trends and adopt

  modern automation practices

  .

Must-Have Skills

• Programming Languages:

  Java, JavaScript

• Frameworks:

  Selenium (Data Driven, Keyword, Hybrid), Playwright

• Automation Types:

  Web Automation, API Automation, Backend Testing

• Technical Expertise:

• Framework design from scratch
• REST services, SOA architecture
• SQL, CSS, XPath
• Jenkins (CI/CD) integration
• Cross-browser automation (BrowserStack, Selenoid)

• Team Leadership:

  Min. 2 years of experience leading small teams (2–5 members)

• Process Knowledge:

  Documentation, test strategy, test plan creation, client presentations

• Soft Skills:

  Excellent communication, collaboration, and client interaction

Good to Have

• Experience with

  WebDriver.IO

  or other Java/JavaScript test frameworks
• Exposure to

  performance testing (JMeter)

  and

  security testing

• Familiarity with

  DevOps practices

  and automation tool integration
• Hands-on

  database testing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 5 years of experience in

  Automation Testing

  (Java/JS with Selenium).
