🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Lead and own test automation strategy across Web, Mobile (Android & iOS), and REST APIs.
• Design, build, and maintain robust and scalable test automation frameworks using:
• Java (mandatory)
• Appium (Mobile)
• Selenium (Web)
• RestAssured (API Testing)
• Mentor and manage a team of automation engineers while remaining deeply hands-on.
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and product teams to deliver high-quality software.
• Perform code reviews and troubleshoot issues across layers (UI/API/mobile).
• Set up test environments, data management, and reporting mechanisms.
• Drive best practices for test coverage, maintainability, and performance.
  

✅ Must-Have Skills

• 5+ years of QA experience, including 3+ years in automation.
• Expert-level proficiency in Java (OOPs, exception handling, collections, etc.).
• Appium for Android/iOS automation (native/hybrid apps).
• Selenium WebDriver for web UI automation.
• RestAssured or similar tool for REST API test automation.
• TestNG or JUnit, Maven/Gradle, Git for framework and build management.
• API concepts: endpoints, headers, JSON schema validation, status codes, etc.
• CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills.

• Experience with BDD (Cucumber).
• Cloud testing tools like BrowserStack, Sauce Labs.
• API mocking tools (e.g., WireMock, Postman Mock Server).
• Performance testing (JMeter, Gatling).
