Job Summary:

Accelyst is seeking a highly skilled Python Backend Developer in designing and implementing scalable web applications and microservices. In this role, you will develop robust APIs, optimize system performance, and ensure seamless integration of backend services using modern tools and frameworks. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build high-performance applications that drive business impact.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in at least one Python web framework, such as Flask, FastAPI, or Django.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Strong understanding of REST API development, authentication mechanisms, and API security best practices.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, along with ORM tools.
• Familiarity with event-driven programming and real-time data streaming using RabbitMQ or Kafka.
• Good knowledge of server-side templating languages and rendering techniques.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to optimize application performance.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
• Excellent team collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Flask or FastAPI, ensuring scalability and security.
• Design and implement microservices architecture with efficient database interaction using ORM libraries (SQLAlchemy, Django ORM).
• Deploy and manage applications using Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and monitoring.
• Integrate message queues like RabbitMQ or Apache Kafka for real-time, event-driven processing.
• Work with server-side templating languages to optimize application rendering and performance.
• Optimize backend logic for high concurrency, low latency, and efficient request handling.
• Ensure system security and data protection using industry best practices.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, and data engineers to deliver seamless application functionality.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to maintain high system reliability.
