About The Role
The Generative AI Python Senior Specialist Engineer role at Coforge is a pivotal position focused on developing advanced AI systems, including traditional AI/ML models and cutting-edge Generative AI solutions. The successful candidate will be instrumental in designing, building, and deploying scalable AI models that address complex business challenges. This role requires a highly skilled individual with a strong background in programming, statistics, and data analysis, capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate will have a passion for innovation and a deep understanding of the latest developments in large language models and generative AI technologies.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess a minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in AI and Python development. A strong foundation in data science, machine learning, and cloud-based AI services is essential. Hands-on experience with building, fine-tuning, and deploying language models such as LLMs, BERT, and LSTMs is required. Familiarity with AI frameworks like Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain, and LlamaIndex, along with proficiency in APIs like OpenAI and Azure OpenAI, is highly desirable. Candidates should have experience working with vector databases such as FAISS or Pinecone, and a solid understanding of prompt engineering, embeddings, and semantic search. Additionally, expertise in RESTful API development using FastAPI or Flask, version control with Git, and CI/CD workflows is necessary. Knowledge of cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP, and familiarity with Java or .Net technologies will be advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize large-scale AI and machine learning models, including generative models and language models, to meet business needs.
- Undertake data collection, preprocessing, and analysis of both structured and unstructured data, ensuring data quality and relevance for model training and evaluation.
- Fine-tune and customize AI models using GenAI studios such as OpenAI, Vertex, or Bedrock, leveraging cloud platforms for rapid prototyping and deployment.
- Implement prompt engineering techniques, embeddings, and vector search solutions to enhance model performance and accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems and workflows, ensuring seamless deployment and scalability.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices to facilitate AI model access and interaction.
- Monitor, evaluate, and improve model performance through continuous testing and iteration.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and generative models, applying innovative techniques to solve complex problems.
- Contribute to the development of best practices and documentation for AI model development and deployment processes.
