About the Role

We are seeking a versatile Python Developer to design, build, and manage end-to-end pipelines for ingesting, analyzing, and visualizing security logs across AWS, Azure, and GCP. The ideal candidate will help our Security and Operations teams uncover actionable insights from diverse data sources, including DNS logs, Proxy logs, NSG flow logs, Orc a, and Uptycs.

This role combines data engineering, cloud infrastructure automation, and interactive visualization, making it a perfect opportunity for someone passionate about both coding and cloud security.

Key Responsibilities

1. Multi-Cloud Log Ingestion & Analysis

  • Develop Python scripts to fetch and normalize logs from AWS, Azure, and GCP APIs (S3, Storage Queues, Pub/Sub).

  • Parse, cleanse, and aggregate data from multiple security sources (DNS, Proxy, NSG flow, Orc a, Uptycs, etc.).

  • Identify data quality issues, document remediation steps, and enhance metadata annotations.

2. Interactive Visualization

  • Build Plot Dash dashboards and reusable components (heat maps, time-series, geospatial maps).

  • Annotate key security events and integrate insights for technical and non-technical audiences.

3. Infrastructure as Code

  • Develop and maintain Terraform modules to deploy logging infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

  • Manage remote state, secrets integration, and secure configurations through tools like Key Vault and Secrets Manager.

4. Configuration Automation (Nice to Have)

  • Create and maintain Ansible playbooks for provisioning environments, installing dependencies, and deploying code.

  • Securely manage IAM credentials using Ansible Vault or environment variables.

5. Security & Compliance

  • Apply least privilege and RBAC principles for access control.

  • Implement measures to safeguard log integrity, detect tampering, and ensure proper retention.

  • Collaborate with Security & Ops teams to fine-tune alerts and automate response workflows.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Python development with strong scripting and API integration skills.

  • Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP SDKs/APIs (storage, messaging, compute).

  • Proficiency in Plot Dash or similar visualization frameworks.

  • Strong experience with Terraform, including remote state and secret management.

  • Solid understanding of security log analysis (DNS, Proxy, NSG flow, Orc a, Uptycs).

  • Good understanding of security best practices (RBAC, least privilege, log integrity).

  • Comfortable working with Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building SIEM or security dashboards.

  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS or equivalent).

  • Exposure to monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.

  • Knowledge of testing frameworks (testes, moto, etc.).

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Benefits

Why Join

  • Work with cutting-edge multi-cloud security and analytics tools.

  • Be part of a collaborative, security-focused engineering culture.

  • Opportunity to design systems that directly enhance threat visibility and response.
