Job Details:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and procure medical equipment, instruments, and consumables based on organizational needs and specifications.
  • Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, price, service, and regulatory compliance.
  • Obtain quotations, negotiate pricing and terms, and issue purchase orders.
  • Ensure all medical equipment purchased meets required certifications and regulatory standards (e.g., CE, FDA, ISO).
  • Track delivery schedules, follow up with vendors, and ensure timely receipt of materials.
  • Maintain and update vendor databases, procurement records, contracts, and purchase documentation.
  • Coordinate with biomedical engineers, doctors, and other departments to understand technical specifications and purchasing needs.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate restocking to prevent shortages or overstocking.
  • Liaise with finance for timely invoice processing and payment follow-ups.
  • Stay informed about new medical technologies, market trends, and supplier innovations.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Biomedical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 4–7 years of experience in purchasing/procurement in the medical equipment or healthcare industry.
  • Strong knowledge of medical equipment, instruments, and healthcare procurement standards.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
