Purchase Manager

We are looking for an experienced and result-driven Sourcing and Purchase Manager to manage procurement activities within the automobile industry. The role focuses on sourcing high-quality components, raw materials, and services needed for automobile servicing, ensuring cost-effectiveness, timely delivery, and compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of automobile components, excellent supplier relationship management skills, and deep insight into the automotive supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

· Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers for EV components (motors, batteries, Converters, controllers, wiring harness, sensors, chargers, etc.).

· Ensure procurement of high-quality EV components at competitive pricing.

· Monitor component costs and explore opportunities to reduce expenses without compromising quality.

· Build and maintain strategic partnerships with key EV component manufacturers and service providers.

· Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms to optimize costs and supplier performance.

· Prepare and issue purchase orders while ensuring compliance with internal processes, quality requirements, and cost control measures.

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor master data, purchase orders, and procurement records.

· Track market trends and supplier innovations to continuously improve sourcing strategies

Qualifications & Skills:

· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering, Supply Chain Management.

· Strong knowledge of automotive components (ICE and EV systems).

· 5 – 8 years of experience in procurement/sourcing in the automobile or auto components manufacturing industry.

· Negotiation and vendor management skills.

· Proficient in ERP / Inventory Management systems.

Ability to handle high-pressure situations and solve problems independently

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹48,000.00 per month
