The Purchase Executive will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods, materials, and services required for the company’s operations. The role involves vendor management, maintaining purchase records, ensuring timely delivery, and achieving cost savings without compromising on quality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and source reliable suppliers/vendors for quality products and services.
• Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the store/warehouse team for timely replenishment.
• Maintain and update supplier database with accurate details.
• Build and maintain healthy relationships with vendors to ensure smooth transactions.
• Track orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve any supply issues.
• Verify and process supplier invoices for payment.
• Stay updated on market trends and product knowledge for better sourcing decisions.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and quality standards.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Purchase Executive or in a similar role.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
