Purchase Executive

Job Summary

Sisco Research Laboratories Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Purchase Executive to manage end-to-end procurement of raw materials and packaging materials required for chemical manufacturing operations. The role focuses on vendor development, cost optimization, price negotiations, and ensuring uninterrupted material availability while complying with SRL’s quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Procure raw materials, solvents, intermediates, and packaging materials as per production and planning requirements
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors in compliance with SRL’s quality, EHS, and statutory norms
• Handle price negotiations, rate contracts, and commercial finalization with suppliers
• Prepare, issue, and track Purchase Orders (POs) ensuring timely delivery
• Coordinate with Production, QA/QC, Stores, and Finance for smooth material flow
• Monitor inventory levels to prevent stock-outs or excess inventory
• Ensure materials comply with COA, MSDS, REACH, and regulatory documentation where applicable
• Evaluate supplier performance on cost, quality, delivery, and service
• Maintain procurement records, vendor master data, and audit-ready documentation
• Support cost reduction initiatives, alternate sourcing, and supplier rationalization

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of chemical raw materials & packaging procurement
• Vendor development and supplier relationship management
• Excellent negotiation and cost control abilities
• Knowledge of chemical industry compliance, safety, and documentation
• Hands-on experience with ERP / SAP / Tally or procurement systems
• Good communication, coordination, and follow-up skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Science / Supply Chain / Management
• Experience in chemical manufacturing industry is mandatory

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
