Purchase Executive

Job Title: Purchase and Order Department: Procurement/Supply Chain Reports to: Procurement Manager Job Summary: The Purchase and Order Specialist is responsible for managing the procurement of goods and services, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery, maintaining supplier relationships, and tracking inventory levels. This role requires strong analytical, organizational, and negotiation skills to meet the company's operational needs. Key Responsibilities: Procurement Management: Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery speed. Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers. Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions. Order Coordination: Monitor and track orders to ensure timely delivery. Address and resolve any issues related to delays, quality discrepancies, or damaged goods. Maintain communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Inventory and Documentation: Track inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstock. Ensure accurate record-keeping of purchases, pricing, and supplier contracts. Assist in stock reconciliation and audits. Cost Control: Analyze and manage procurement budgets. Identify opportunities to reduce costs without compromising quality. Compliance and Policies: Ensure procurement practices comply with company policies and legal requirements. Update procurement procedures and standards as needed. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience: Fresher Skills: Strong negotiation and communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems. Analytical and problem-solving abilities. Attention to detail and organizational skills Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Accuracy of procurement forecasting. Percentage of cost savings achieved. On-time delivery rate. Supplier performance ratings. Inventory turnover ratio.
