Job Summary

Public Relations (PR) Manager

Role & responsibilities

Strategic Communications

  • Develop and implement PR and communication strategies aligned with the company's vision and growth objectives.
  • Maintain consistent, compliant, and brand-aligned messaging across all platforms.

Media Relations

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, influencers, and media outlets.
  • Respond to media inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Serve as the company's spokesperson when required.

Content Creation & Legal Compliance

  • Draft, review, and edit press releases, articles, newsletters, blogs, website content, and social media posts.
  • Ensure all communication adheres to legal marketing guidelines and protects client confidentiality.
  • Translate complex legal concepts into clear, accessible language for the public.

Crisis Management

  • Develop crisis communication protocols for handling sensitive or controversial situations.
  • Manage negative publicity with tact, clarity, and legal prudence.

Community & Client Engagement

  • Plan and coordinate community outreach programs, legal awareness events, workshops, and webinars.
  • Foster community trust by providing accurate, helpful, and culturally sensitive information.

Internal Communications

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure aligned messaging across departments, especially legal, HR, and operations.
  • Facilitate transparent, effective communication within the organization.

Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track media coverage, social media activity, and public sentiment to assess brand perception.
  • Measure PR campaign performance using data-driven KPIs and prepare regular reports for management.

Cultural Sensitivity

  • Ensure communication materials reflect diversity, inclusion, and linguistic accessibility.
  • Coordinate translation/adaptation of key documents for multilingual audiences.

Preferred candidate profile

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Law, or related field.
  • Master's degree OR legal qualifications (LLB/LLM) strongly preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum

    5 to 9 years

    of experience in PR or communication roles.
  • Experience in a

    law firm

    , corporate legal environment, or regulated industry is highly preferred.

Technical & Professional Skills

  • Strong understanding of immigration laws, legal processes, and ethical communication norms.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and public-speaking abilities.
  • Proficiency in PR tools, analytics platforms, and MS Office Suite.
  • Multilingual skills are an added advantage.

  • Strong interpersonal and people-management skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
