Proposal Manager

As a Proposal and Estimation Manager for turnkey packages, your role will involve leading and managing the entire proposal and estimation process. You will review tender documents, specifications, and scope of work from various EPC consultants/contractors. Some of these include Bechtel, Technip, Toyo, Thyssenkrupp, Worley, L&T, Tata Projects, etc. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare techno-commercial offers that align with client requirements and project standards. - Develop cost estimates for mechanical equipment, piping, structural steel, site works, and third-party bought-out items. - Coordinate with procurement, engineering, and project management teams to gather inputs for accurate costing. - Interact with vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations and evaluate technical compliance. - Conduct risk assessment and provide pricing strategy inputs to the management. - Prepare bid clarifications, technical deviations, and coordinate with clients/consultants during bid evaluation. - Support negotiation and handover of successful bids to the execution team. - Maintain updated cost databases and estimation tools for continuous improvement in accuracy. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field. - Proven experience in proposal and estimation management within the EPC industry. - Strong understanding of mechanical equipment, piping, structural steel, and site works. - Excellent communication and negotiation skills. - Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. - Proficiency in using estimation tools and software.
