Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Schedule Development and Management: Creating and updating project schedules using project management software, identifying critical path activities, and ensuring alignment with project objectives. Resource Allocation: Working with resource managers to allocate personnel, equipment, and materials, optimizing resource utilization and minimizing delays. Progress Monitoring and Reporting: Tracking project progress against the schedule, identifying potential delays, and reporting progress to stakeholders. 4. Risk Management: Identifying potential risks and proposing mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on the schedule. 5. Communication and Collaboration: Communicating schedule information clearly to project stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and clients, and collaborating with them to address any issues. 6. Quality Assurance: Ensuring that the schedule aligns with the project scope and objectives, and that all tasks are completed on time and within budget. 7. Performance Evaluation: Evaluating project performance against the schedule, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending action plans to address any deviations. 8. Supporting Project Management: Assisting the project manager with all scheduling aspects of the project, including baselining, updating schedules, and managing changes, according to the Voith Group. Skills: 1. Strong organizational and time management skills: Crucial for managing multiple tasks and deadlines. 2. Proficiency in project management software: Experience with tools like Microsoft Project, or similar software is essential. 3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and clients. 4. Analytical and problem-solving skills: Ability to analyze project data, identify potential issues, and develop solutions. 5. Understanding of project management methodologies: Familiarity with project planning and scheduling principles, such as the critical path method, is helpful. 6. Knowledge of risk management principles: Understanding of how to identify and mitigate project risks. Qualifications Engineering diploma or graduation. Science graduation is also considered.
