The role involves interfacing with multidisciplinary teams for the successful delivery of piping systems compliant with safety, regulatory, and operational standards. Key Responsibilities: Develop and review piping material specifications (PMS) , valve specifications, and piping class standards for various fluid services. Select appropriate materials (metallic and non-metallic) for piping systems considering process fluids, temperature, pressure, corrosion, and cleanliness (esp. for food & chemical environments). Review and approve P&IDs , material requisitions (MR), and technical bid evaluations (TBE). Ensure piping components (pipes, fittings, flanges, valves, gaskets, fasteners) conform to relevant ASME, ASTM, IS, API, DIN, and ISO standards .
