Mechanical Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Mechanical Assembly Management:

• Oversee the daily operation of the mechanical machine building and mechanical team.
• Manage project schedule as per plan made by the project team
• Manage and schedule shift for mechanical team members
• Create and manage mechanical assembly procedure for various process and machines
• Keep the team technical fitness with necessary training
• Monitor and manage performance of mechanical team.
• Investigate and troubleshoot if any function related issue with the machine during the trial run
• Identify individual performance gaps and address immediately due to the top management
• Method and process of measurement of job shall be instituted
• Monitor the mechanical machine building process to ensure the efficiency and productivity
• Implement process improvement to optimize workflow and reduce waste

• Identify the risk in mechanical process. and analyse the process capability and process capability index. (CP and CPK)

Quality Control in Assembly Process

• Ensure the machine are built to the quality parameter as decent.
• Lead the internal validation process monitor the corrective action to their full resolution in time
• Conduct regular inspection and audit of the mechanical process and function.
• Address and resolve the quality issue of the mechanical process and implement RCA (Root Cause Analysis)

Inventory Management in Assembly Process

• Monitor inventory level of mechanical assembly materials , tools and equipment.
• Coordinate with the procurement team and ensure the ready availability of the mechanical machine building material.
  

Health and safety

• Report all accident or incidents on the assembly floor.

  Make RCA and action plan

Reporting and documentation

• Maintain drawing files of every project in a tidy manner
• Report changes made at the assembly dept. promptly to the design dept.
• Maintain accurate records of the production metrics, quality issue and inventory levels
• Prepare the precent regular report of the mechanical machine assembly performance to the senior management
• Document and update mechanical machine building procedure and protocol.
• Maintain records of training, attendance and personal conducts

Educational Background

• Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or a related field (e.g., Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering).

Preferred Candidate Profile

An experienced, dynamic and self-motivated mechanical manager to lead the

mechanical assembly operations of custom designed special purpose machines at our

manufacturing facility.

The candidate will lead mechanical machine building operations from the front - hands-on experience in mechanical machine building

work of a millwright nature is preferred - coordinating with the customers and suppliers within

the organization.

Analytical skills are essential in realizing the end client requirements as well as unrelenting

quality consciousness.

Technical skills

• Strong knowledge of:
• Mechanical design and CAD software
• Automation systems, including robotics, conveyors, and machine components.
• Pneumatics, hydraulics, and electromechanical systems.
• Familiarity with: Manufacturing processes such as CNC machining, sheet metal, etc.

• Experience with DFMEA, PFMEA, BOMs, GD&T, tolerance analysis.

• Analyse Assembly drawings and initiate work Instruction based on design

• Analyse and ability to calculate machine available time, OEE, Take Time & Cycle time.

• Experience in tool making

Leadership Skills:

• Experienced in Leading a mechanical machine building team at a manufacturing plant, or set up
• Collaborative skills, and cross functional leadership and stakeholder management
• Lead and motivate the mechanical assembly team to the full capability of the team
• Efficiently organize and manage the resources
