This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Project Manager in India.

As a Project Manager, you will lead software delivery projects from initiation to completion, ensuring successful implementation, high-quality deliverables, and client satisfaction. You will coordinate across multiple stakeholders, including internal teams, clients, and third-party vendors, while managing budgets, timelines, and project risks. This role requires a strong focus on customer outcomes, excellent communication, and the ability to translate business needs into actionable project plans. You will also mentor and guide project team members, contribute to process improvements, and maintain compliance with established project management methodologies and quality standards. The position offers an opportunity to work on complex, high-impact projects in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Accountabilities

  • Lead end-to-end project management, including initiation, planning, execution, delivery, and closure
  • Maintain communication and build relationships with senior stakeholders, including programme and operations directors
  • Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and scope changes, implementing solutions to keep projects on track
  • Ensure project profitability, quality of deliverables, and client satisfaction
  • Prepare and manage project plans, resource allocation, and budgets, ensuring alignment with financial targets
  • Support pre-sales activities, including scoping, proposals, Statements of Work (SOW), and contract documentation
  • Oversee software delivery progress, coordinating third-party suppliers, and reporting issues, resolutions, and escalations
  • Produce project documentation, including designs, test summaries, release notes, and training materials
  • Implement project deliverables in client environments, ensuring smooth transitions to live operations
  • Mentor, coach, and manage project team members, conducting performance reviews and supporting professional development

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in software delivery project management, using both waterfall and agile methodologies
  • Proven ability to manage internal and external stakeholders at senior levels
  • Strong commercial awareness and sound decision-making capabilities
  • Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and client-facing skills
  • Meticulous, structured, and highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Flexible and adaptable, able to manage shifting priorities and timelines
  • Knowledge of the telecommunications industry is desirable
  • Familiarity with MS Project, PlanView, Jira, Confluence, Source Code Version Control tools, and agile techniques is a plus
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required
