Job Description

Job Summary:

The Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end planning, execution, monitoring, and closing of specific ground-mount solar EPC projects. This role serves as the central point of contact for the project, coordinating all internal departments (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Project Controls) and external stakeholders (client, subcontractors, vendors) to ensure successful project delivery on time, within budget, and to the specified quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

●      Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.

●      Lead and motivate a multi-disciplinary project team, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.

●      Manage project budget, track costs, and implement cost control measures specific to the Indian market.

●      Oversee project schedule, identify critical path activities, and implement corrective actions as needed.

●      Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, managing expectations and ensuring client satisfaction.

●      Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks throughout the lifecycle, considering local challenges.

●      Ensure strict adherence to quality standards, Indian safety regulations, and environmental policies.

●      Manage contracts with subcontractors and vendors, ensuring compliance and performance within the Indian legal framework.

●      Facilitate effective communication and coordination among all project stakeholders.

●      Prepare and present regular project progress reports to senior management and clients.

●      Manage project close-out activities, including final documentation, handover, and lessons learned.

Qualifications:

●      Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil) or a related technical field.

●      Minimum of 4-5years of experience in EPC project management, with at least 2 years specifically on utility-scale ground-mount solar projects in India.

●      Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects from conception to completion.

●      Strong understanding of solar PV technology, construction methodologies, and relevant Indian codes/standards.

●      Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
