Job Description

Title: Project Manger

The Role:

The Project Manager (Scrum Master) will be responsible for ensuring that a Scrum team functions effectively within the Agile framework.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as a servant leader and coach for one or more agile teams.
Facilitate scrum ceremonies like daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives and backlog refinement meetings.
Ensure team adherence to Agile/Scrum practices and values.
Identify, track, and remove impediments that hinder the team’s progress.
Foster a culture of collaboration, ownership, and accountability.
Support Product Owner in backlog grooming, planning, and prioritization.
Monitor sprint progress and help the team meet delivery goals.
Drive continuous improvement through feedback, metrics, and agile retrospectives.
Act as a change agent for agile transformation and scaling efforts (e.g., SAFe).
Coordinate with other Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches to improve agile practices across teams.
Utilize agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) for tracking and reporting.

Qualifications:

Required:

5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile role.
Strong knowledge of Agile principles and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.).
Scrum Master certification (e.g., CSM, PSM I/II).
Experience working with tools like Jira, Wiki etc.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.

Preferred:

Experience in a scaled agile environment (SAFe).
Background in software development or technical project management.
Experience working with distributed or remote teams.
