Project Manager Indirect Materials
at Global Spares Supply team!We are seeking to hire a new project manager to our offering team dedicated to lead maintenance material solutions and developments to deliver high value to customers and business stakeholders. You will drive the development, implementation and follow-up of our spare part offering of indirect materials to improve our service material offering availability. Project Manager Indirect Materials reports to GSS Offering manager and our main location is KONE campus in Chennai, India.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for indirect material offering development projects and management
- Responsible for managing the product lifecycle, including onboarding, maintenance, EOL, and replacements
- Manage and collaborate with stakeholders on technical solutions
- Responsible for product and solution development by analyzing internal demand, market trends, and supplier capabilities to ensure alignment with operational and strategic needs
- Be an active part in the Offering team, pushing the limits and supporting the future vision
- Engage and cocreate solutions with the customer feedback and business insights to develop competitive products
- Responsible for product compliance and associated governance and reporting
- Responsible for ensuring product compliance and liability across the lifecycle, while supporting pricing strategies through cost analysis, benchmarking, and supplier negotiations
To be successful in this role you should have:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
- Solid knowledge of project management and offering development
- 10-12 years of relevant overall experience
- minimum of 5 year of tools life cycle management
- Two or more years’ experience with project management and development
- leading
- Two or more years’ experience with elevator system and component knowledge practical application knowledge of elevator maintenance engineering solutions
- Two or more years’ experience with project team
- Advanced communication and presentation skills in English language
- Preferred background includes experience in international and cross-functional collaboration
- Comfortable working in a virtual and cross-functional global team environment
- Willingness to travel
