Job Summary:
HealthProof is seeking an experienced
Project Manager
with a strong technology background to lead and deliver complex healthcare projects. The role requires managing one or more projects across onsite and offshore teams, ensuring alignment with customer expectations, and driving execution excellence. The ideal candidate will have proven project management experience, excellent communication skills, and a good understanding of healthcare domain processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Tracking
- Plan, track, and manage projects using tools such as JIRA, MS Project, etc.
- Identify, manage, and track project risks, issues, and dependencies, engaging stakeholders as required.
- Support Scrum Master in following agile processes, practices, and tools.
- Define and monitor project milestones, timelines, and deliverables to ensure on-time delivery.
Stakeholder & Communication Management
- Act as the single point of contact (POC) between HealthProof’s onsite/offshore teams and the customer.
- Provide regular and accurate project status updates and progress reports.
- Collaborate with clients, VPs/CIOs, and business stakeholders to ensure transparent communication and decision-making.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with project goals.
Team Leadership & Performance
- Motivate and guide team members to achieve project goals and maintain high productivity.
- Conduct regular team meetings to review progress, address issues, and ensure schedule adherence.
- Manage resource allocation, utilization, costs, and schedules effectively.
- Support hiring, mentoring, and capability building within the project team.
Risk Management & Issue Resolution
- Identify potential project risks early and define mitigation strategies.
- Escalate issues that may impact scope, cost, timeline, or quality.
- Ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly to maintain project health.
Client & Delivery Excellence
- Collaborate with leads and business analysts to understand business needs and Software Requirements Specifications (SRS).
- Work with IT support teams to ensure system and infrastructure readiness.
- Track project metrics and implement continuous improvement measures.
- Ensure customer satisfaction, quality standards, and compliance with company values and policies.
Strategic Contribution
- Promote HealthProof’s vision and ensure program awareness for successful rollouts.
- Participate in solution discussions and technical reviews to support the delivery team.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
- 10+ years of overall IT experience across different roles.
- 5+ years of proven IT Project Management experience.
- Prior experience in US Healthcare customer care processes preferred.
- PMP or CSM certification preferred.
Preferred Skills & Competencies:
- Strong experience with JIRA, MS Project, and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- Ability to identify and mitigate project risks proactively.
- Understanding of healthcare domain, data conversion, and data profiling (advantageous).
- Strong organizational and analytical abilities with attention to detail.
