Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Technical Leadership:

a. Steer and guide the development team during the course of the development of MERN stack-based web applications project by architecting the proposal, programming and also deployment. 

b. Decide about coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines for the purpose of keeping standard high-quality apprehensible code. 

c. Pay close attention to the upcoming innovations in the technology world that concern MERN stack development and apply what is useful for your business needs. 

2. Architecture and Design:

a. Develop scalable, resilient, and long-lived solutions for web applications using MERN stack architecture taking into account the following factors; performance, security, and usability. 

b. Collaborate with stakeholders to determine specifications and technical requirements and produce design documents. 

c. Perform code reviews and give guidance to developers in the right direction to keep their code in compliance with design principles, coding standards, and architectural guidelines. 

3. Development and Implementation:

a. Lead the development team in writing clean, concise, and properly documented code utilizing MongoDB/RDMS as a data storage option and Express, node, react for web development. 

b. Develop a user interface, which users can interact with, and also back-end functionalities, making the systems work together perfectly and have all tasks run effectively. 

c. Adopt methods of version control, continuous integration, and deployment to make it easier to manage the development process and to guarantee reliability in the code. 

d. Capable to setup and use application in Cloud (AWS, GCP services) with Serverless architecture. e. Capable to setup and use DevOps tools for automation. 

4. Quality Assurance and Testing:

a. Scrutinize testing methods such as unit, integration and end-to-end tests for MERN stack-based web applications. 

b. Coordinate with QA engineers, devise test cases and execute proper testing procedures for ensuring delivery of quality and flawless software. 

c. Implement automated testing frameworks and various tests tools for expanded test coverage and efficiency. 

5. Documentation:

a. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all developed applications and systems. 

b. Document development processes and workflows for future reference. 

6. Stakeholder Communication:

a. Illustrate complex technical terms, project reviews, and implementation aspects to non-technical participants effectively by means of communication. 

b. Spotlight and solve the technical problems and offer the solutions regarding the project plan and set time limits and goals. 

7. Team Collaboration and Mentorship:

a. Make the most of your teamwork relationship by adopting a shared expectation of knowledge sharing, collaboration, and a continuous learning process. 

b. Guide, and support junior developers at the same time, and provide them with the necessary feedback, to help them become more professional.
