Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and result-oriented General Manager – Civil and Infrastructure to lead and manage our ongoing and upcoming government infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end project delivery, planning, execution, stakeholder coordination, vendor and contractor management, and ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning and Execution: o Lead overall project planning, resource allocation, budgeting, and implementation strategies for civil and infrastructure government projects. o Ensure all project milestones are achieved within the defined scope, cost, and time. Team & Stakeholder Management: o Build, lead, and mentor multidisciplinary teams including engineers, site managers, and consultants. o Coordinate with government officials, regulatory authorities, and internal leadership. Vendor and Contractor Oversight: o Evaluate and manage third-party vendors and civil contractors to ensure quality and timely delivery. o Negotiate contracts, monitor performance, and resolve any issues impacting progress. Government Liaison: o Act as the primary point of contact for client communication and relationship management. o Ensure compliance with all government norms, safety regulations, and project documentation. Quality, Safety & Compliance: o Enforce stringent quality control and health and safety protocols on-site. o Conduct regular audits and reviews to align with statutory and contractual obligations. Key Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or similar from a Tier-1 Institute Minimum 10 years of experience in civil/infrastructure project management, with at least 5 years in a leadering a team of project managers. Proven track record in delivering complex government infrastructure projects (urban development, theme parks, museum, roads, bridges, public buildings, etc.). Strong command over project management tools and concepts Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. Willingness to travel to multiple project sites as required.
