Project Engineer

Job Title: Project Engineer Department: Projects / Construction Reporting To: Project Manager / Head - Projects Location: Jaipur Job Summary: The Project Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all on-site engineering and construction activities for residential, commercial, or mixed-use real estate projects. The role involves ensuring timely execution, maintaining quality standards, controlling costs, and coordinating with consultants, contractors, and internal teams. Key Responsibilities: Plan, schedule, and monitor day-to-day construction activities as per the approved project plan and design. Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEP consultants, and contractors for smooth project execution. Ensure all work complies with approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards. Supervise site engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of work. Monitor material consumption and verify contractor bills against work progress. Maintain project documentation, including daily progress reports, quality checklists, and site records. Assist in preparing BOQs, estimates, and cost control reports. Conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to quality and safety norms. Identify and resolve technical issues that may arise during project execution. Coordinate with procurement and project planning teams for timely availability of materials and equipment. Ensure compliance with local building codes, environmental regulations, and statutory approvals. Key Skills & Competencies: Strong technical knowledge of civil and structural works. Understanding of MEP coordination and project drawings. Excellent project planning and execution skills. Ability to manage contractors and multiple stakeholders. Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management tools. Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
