Job Title: Project Coordinator – Road Safety Program (2 Positions)

Qualification Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work / Public Administration / Engineering (Civil or Transport) / Education / Community Development
  • 2–4 years of field experience in training, education programs, or community mobilization
  • Experience in road safety, school programs, behaviour change, or CSR projects will be an added advantage
  • Strong skills in stakeholder coordination, school relationship management, documentation, and reporting
  • Ability to speak, read and write Tamil is essential; English proficiency required


The Project Coordinator will act as the primary field lead for project execution in the assigned district.

The role involves training delivery, stakeholder coordination, documentation, school zone safety work, and overall support to the Project Manager to ensure smooth implementation of SRF’s road safety program.


Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Stakeholder Engagement & Permissions

  • Liaise with Education Department, Schools, Police, RTO, and local authorities
  • Ensure all permissions and approvals are obtained for program implementation
  • Maintain strong relationships with partner schools and government stakeholders

2. Training & Awareness Delivery

  • Conduct training sessions for students, teachers, parents
  • Facilitate driver training in coordination with Police/RTO
  • Manage attendance, pre-post assessments, and certification data

3. Safe School Zone Support

  • Assist in school zone safety audits
  • Coordinate and supervise vendor installation work for infrastructure improvements
  • Provide regular photo documentation, geo-tagging, and monitoring updates

4. Monitoring, Evaluation & Documentation

  • Collect assessments, feedback, testimonials, photos, videos, and media evidence
  • Maintain accurate school-level data, training records, and field reports
  • Submit weekly and monthly documentation to the Project Manager
  • Escalate risks, issues, or delays promptly

5. Community Outreach & Events

  • Organize community events, mural painting, student rallies, road safety campaigns
  • Support employee volunteering activities and external engagement events

Key Skills Required

  • Strong communication & presentation skills (Tamil + English)
  • Confidence in delivering school-level training sessions
  • Good organizational and coordination abilities
  • Ability to manage fieldwork independently
  • Proficiency in MS Office, documentation, and reporting
  • Comfortable traveling within the district
