Project Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Coordination

* Assist in the development of detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation and deliverables.

* Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment on project objectives.

* Support the identification and mitigation of potential project risks and bottlenecks.

* Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including scope statements, schedules and progress reports.

Stakeholder Communication and Reporting

* Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding project updates, status reports and communication.

* Prepare regular project status reports for senior management, summarizing progress, risks and next steps.

* Ensure that project stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.

Process Improvement and Innovation

*Identify opportunities to improve project management processes, tools and templates.

*Recommend and implement process enhancements to drive greater efficiency and effectiveness in project execution.

* Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in project management, sharing insights with the team.

Experience & Qualifications:

Education:

MSW, MBA, MA in Sociology, Economics, Political Science, Development Studies, Anthropology, or related fields.

Experience:

Preferred experience in government consulting, public sector projects or related roles.
